This video is an in depth overview of Sergei Mikhailovich Eisenstein's films and life. It is a synthesis of material and interpretation from his films, Marie Seton's biography, and his film essays gathered by Jay Leyda in Film Form. I hope to introduce Eisenstein and his work, while still saying enough to not necessitate anything further. Though, I do highly recommend Battleship Potemkin and Alexander Nevsky.
