Coaching Centres Association Kashmir (CCAK) Hails Return To November Session

New Academic Calendar Expected To Relieve Student Stress, Elevate Better Results In NEET, JEE, JKAS & IAS Exams

Srinagar: The Coaching Centres Association of Kashmir (CCAK) has commended the Jammu and Kashmir government’s decision to revert the academic session for classes up to 9th to the traditional November Session, predicting it will positively impact student performance in competitive exams like NEET, JEE, IAS, and JKAS. This change undoes the 2022 order that had shifted the academic year from November to March, a move seen as incompatible with Kashmir’s unique seasonal and educational requirements.

"This decision is a historic and vital step towards enhancing the educational ecosystem in Kashmir,” said Lateef Masudi, President of the Coaching Centres Association Kashmir. He praised the new government, especially Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Health And Education Minister Sakeena Itoo and all other cabinet ministers, for their proactive stance on addressing educational challenges. The restored schedule aligns better with Kashmir’s academic rhythm, potentially improving results for students preparing for top-level exams.

Masudi highlighted that the previous March session disrupted study cycles, creating stress and impacting academic performance. “This policy reversal not only aligns with the region's topography but is also expected to yield better outcomes in national competitive exams by alleviating unnecessary pressure on students,” he said.

The Association once again expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Sahab, Dy.Chief Minster Surinder Kumar Chowdhury Ji And Health And Education Minister Sakeena Itoo Sahiba Ji for their visionary leadership and dedication to the students and youths. The November academic session is seen as a return to normalcy, allowing students to follow a more consistent study schedule that supports mental well-being, academic growth, and, ultimately, competitive exam success.
