So let me tell you a story about the 1990's, boys and girls: If you weren't around, you have no idea of how much Street Fighter II changed videogame culture.

In the blink of an eye, the entire industry moved in the same direction and we had an absolute deluge of fighting games, some terrible, some great, some weird and this one is like a weird mix of all three.

Dead Dance... Known in the U.S as "Tuff E Nuff", because "attitude", was made by Jaleco and is an od hybrid of Fist of the Northstar and Street Fighter I. in here, the world was ravaged by a great war and some dude who looks like big and fat Rutger Hauer, found some armor that gives him divine power. It's up for four warriors to defeat him and restore the world to a peaceful state... or at least, as peaceful as a nuclear wasteland can be.

Is not a bad game. The controls are responsive, the graphics and sound are well made, and the game have the then new idea of powering up your character and making his specials stronger and visually different as you progressed in the story. Unfortunately, this is one of those games you would only try if neither Street Fighter II or Mortal Kombat was available at your rental place. Shame.

In here, i play with Syoh (a terrible way to adapt the name "Sho"), the Ryu of the game. I'll play with all four main characters, to give you guys a feel of how the game works.

I truly reccomend Dead Dance, but play the japanese version. The endings and a few mor features were removed in both the U.S and European versions.
