CAMEL MEAT: comment if you've tried it! This dish I've tried to sorta... Send it back- you see, this camel meat is Australian! As the video says, Aussie has got a whole bunch of these out there, waiting to be eaten. I had camel steak, but I gotta say, these were TOUGH- like, extremely chewy, and I treated them very well. But you live you learn, I guess. The flavours I had it with were spicy and sweet and a tad nutty, so the foundation was nice. And the flavour of the camel was VERY rich and gamey, which I like (huge iron taste to it)- but I think on the most part, camel probably belongs in the slow cooker!
