Smooth Ride: Heathrow to London City Train

In this video, I'll show you the most convenient and affordable options for getting from Heathrow Terminal 5 into central London.

As someone who travels through Heathrow frequently, I've tried all the different methods and want to share with you my favorite way to get to London on a budget from Heathrow.

There are a few main ways to make the journey: the Heathrow Express, the Elizabeth Line, and taking the Piccadilly Line on the London Underground. While the Heathrow Express is the quickest at only 15 minutes each way, it can be quite expensive at around £25 each way, so I prefer the tube.

My favorite budget-friendly option is to take the new Elizabeth Line, also known as Crossrail. The Elizabeth Line takes a little longer at around 30 minutes to central London stations like Paddington, Liverpool Street, and Bond Street, but tickets are much cheaper, starting at £10 each way.

You can also take the Piccadilly Line, which is the slowest at 50-60 minutes. In this video, I'll show you the easy journey taking the Elizabeth Line from Terminal 5 to Liverpool step-by-step.
