🎹 CAEN is the largest Cavaillé-Coll available for Hauptwerk (Demonstration)

In this video I demonstrate the Cavaillé-Coll organ in the abbey of Saint-Étienneas, Caen (France) as recorded by Sonus Paradisi. I take you through every stop individually and bring the sounds together in short interludes. At the end of the video I play some Messiaen to demonstrate the 'full' sound this organ can make.

► Orage (a Thunder or a Drum) draws the lowest semitones in Pedal to sound simultaneously, giving strong storm-like subsonic beating effect;
► The following stops don't exist on the real instrument: Nasard 2 2/3 & Tierce 1 3/5 (Positif), Nasard 2 2/3 and Plein-Jeu (Recit), Contrebombarde 32 (Pedal)
