For my 300th video on this channel, I thought I'd do something a bit different. Here's an EXTREMELY cheap way to cheese Struggle for the Book with a bottom-tier character. It goes like this:
First, equip Shadow Harness. The unflinching effect of this horse TRANSFERS to every other animal you ride in the stage, meaning now you can't fall down from your elephant anymore
Next, equip Horned Helmet and Kirin Hoof to stack up the ramming power of your elephant. With this, you should empty anywhere between 1/10 to 1/7 of an officer's health bar with just ONE ram (square button)
This is optional, but recommended: Because an elephant's one major weakness is archers (although they can't knock you down your elephant anymore, the damage still accumulates very severly), I recommend stacking 40 DEF to tank the arrow shots. Trust me, it makes your life so much easier.
Now go out there and DESTROY this annoying stage.

This strategy works DISGUSTINGLY well because of an elephant's unique property that makes it completely immune to the following enemies/obstacles: Poison mist, Tornadoes, stone sentinal soldiers (just run through them), the weird fountain thingy in the castle's second layer, bombs, falling archer towers, and obviously, sorcerers' freezing blast.

Being on an elephant also negates the majority of problems you face when dealing with multiple officers at once, which is another reason why this stage is so damn hard.

The only two weaknesses that can potentially deter an elephant are (1) archers, and (2) falling boulders. Both of these obstacles can be negated if you keep moving around and not stand in one place too long.

But beware that you need to have a VERY good control of the minimap to accurately and safely ram officers. If you're not that good at it yet, this strategy will still be very hard.
