Qodosen SR-286, XHDATA D-808 and Eton Elite Traveler on weak and strong signals

Описание к видео Qodosen SR-286, XHDATA D-808 and Eton Elite Traveler on weak and strong signals

Some of my viewers have asked for more comparisons of the Qodosen SR-286 and other radios. You ask, I listen, here is another one. It is three signals from three continents (Asia, Europe, North America), received at my location in Johannesburg, South Africa.

These signals range from quite weak to quite strong. The radios you can see are the XHDATA D-808, the Qodosen SR-286 and the Eton Elite Traveler, all with the MLA30+ loop antenna.

The signals are Voice of Oromo Liberation, a clandestine station to Ethiopia; KBS World Radio in Korean and KNLS from Alaska. There is a bit of intermittent noise during the KNLS transmission, so I show several clips there, to give each radio a fair chance with and without the noise.

I think, once again, the Qodosen shows what it is made of. The lower noise floor on the Qodosen and its great sensitivity is clear, although the other radios also perform quite well here.
