HID’s Seos is their 3rd generation contactless access credential. This credential uses more of a standard space cryptography than HID’s previous versions – moving away from some of the proprietary things they have done in the past.

The card itself is a micro-processor card. The critical information is placed on a java chip, giving the credential much more functionality and security.
