In the latest developments concerning the vice presidential elections, the counting of the votes have begun. It was expected that the results will be declared anytime soon after 7PM. In the early trends, the results were in favour of the NDA candidate Jagdeep Dhankhar who has been fielded against the opposition candidate Margaret Alva. The voting was conducted between 10AM-5PM on Saturday in which around 790 MLAs took part. The TMC leaders, however, did not participated in the elections citing that they were not taken into confidence while deciding the name of the opposition candidate. Watch to know more!
