Once again the Vintage Vxndals have teamed up to take listeners on a ride through a sonic landscape of memorable melodies, cascading arpeggiations and soulful chord progressions. Scenic Route Volume 2 is the follow up to one of the Vxndals’ earliest and most notable sample libraries. It was during the creation of volume one that the Vxndals realized making sample libraries together was one of the most rewarding things they could do as producers. They even saw commercial success when rapper/producer Russ sampled volume one for his album, “Shake the Snowglobe.”

Since then, the Vxndals have produced a good number of sample libraries, all of which have been met with high praise and esteem from producer colleagues and fans alike. So today marks a special milestone (a highway marker if you will) that represents the great distance travelled over the past year as each of the Vxndals have polished their skills, not as individuals, but as bandmates.

Scenic Route Volume 2 is simultaneously an ode and testament to its predecessor. It shares a familiarity to volume one yet it properly has its own sound and appeal. Each sample purposefully represents the journey travelled as well as the road ahead. That said, it is our hope that these samples will fill your sample tank and drive you to your most desired musical destination.
