Crossing the Thames Estuary - our passage from Dover to Shotley Marina

Описание к видео Crossing the Thames Estuary - our passage from Dover to Shotley Marina

We crossed the Thames Estuary by means of Route 26 from Roger Gaspar's invaluable 'Crossing the Thames Estuary'. This involved passing through part of the London Array wind-farm, following the Outer, Middle and Inner Long Sand safe-water buoys. This passage is known as Foulger's Gat. When then crossed the Black Deep deepwater channel before crossing over the Sunk Sand shoaling area by means of the short Little Sunk passage. From then we headed north-west to clear the Gunfleet Sands before heading into the River Stour and into the entrance lock for Shotley Marina.
