Chamm is a story of two brothers from a lower cast, who go through every evil of society from bankruptcy to unemployment through the clutches of Politicians, local dealers, and medical services. The family hungry for baby birth goes nowhere and nobody comes to rescue them. Keepa (the protagonist) goes in the hell of his own surrounding system. But one veterinary doctor comes in between to save them and their entire population. It’s a fight between the bad and good, between the desires and mercy. So the movie ‘CHAMM’ (The Skin) is about inner defeat and inner victory. Sarpanch Haakam (the antagonist) is power hungry beast who stops at nothing to destroy Keepa and his nuclear family. But the doctor teaches him humanity in another way. Glue to the climax as it will change the destiny of Punjab.

The movie CHAMM talks about the hypocritical world through the eyes of an unborn child, who is still in the womb of his/her mother, the child who wants to live or survive at any cost, who wants to tell the truth of his struggle, who wants to see the cruel Haakam and his system. The child simply wants to breathe the air of his luck or unluck.

The existing problems in Punjab and India are described through these characters of hope and hopelessness. They will reach the solutions in their own destined ways and the wisdom will collide again and again with the full force of the doomed. Hence, the fate of the unborn is our answer.
