In this Grasshopper Tower Tutorial, we will create a parametric model of the MahaNakhon Tower by Ole Sheeren Architects. I am going to break this process down and show you how to use Rhino 3D and Grasshopper as a modeling tool to generate this parametric pixel tower.

Grasshopper is an excellent visual programming plugin for McNeel Rhinoceros 6 that allows you to create fully parametric 3D models, perfect for facades, tower models, and other complex geometries. Grasshopper makes rhino parametric, allowing you to be able to control your 3D models from an intuitive visual interface. Parametric design has applications in Architecture, product design, landscape design, and urban planning. I have also used Grasshopper on several environmental simulations and to sort/interpret research data.
