ہم قدم ان (un) کے قدم کے بعد رکھتے ہیں
Rising over the earth is the sky of Arbaeen
Leading the caravan are the lovers of Arbaeen
The elderly too have become the youth of Arbaeen
The Mahdi of the time also walks along ahead
We step right after he steps ahead



راستے بھر کوئی بے گھر اور بے سایہ نہیں
اسکے مہمانوں میں سویا کوئی بھی بھوکا نہیں
آج تک زیرِ فلک یہ معجزہ دیکھا نہیں
زندگی مردہ بدن کو خستہ تن بانٹے
بے کفن لاشہ کروڑوں کو کفن بانٹے
The whole way none are homeless or needy
Among his guests no one ever sleeps hungry
Never yet this miracle has ever been seen
To the dead gives life that severed body!
Gives a million shrouds away that shroud-less body



دے صدا لبیک کی اے عاشقِ شبیر چل
کربلا سینہ بہ سینہ آج کر تعمیر چل
تیرا رستہ دیکھتی ہے زینب دلگیر چل
اس کو نہ بیٹے کی غربت یاد آ جائے
فاطمہ س کا قلب مضطر چین پا جائے
Cry "Labbaik!" and, O lover of Husayn, go!
Build a Karbala today altogether, go!
Zaynab the broken hearted awaits you, go!
Let her not remember her son's loneliness
The broken heart of Fatima gets peace and rest!



پائے عابد ع سے بہے خونِ مقدس کی قسم
از نجف تا کربلا یہ دوڑتے زخمی قدم
حوصلہ بیمار زائر مانگتے ہیں دم بہ دم
شہنشاہ ِ کربلا نے دی صدا ہم کو
دوش پر اپنی بٹھا لے چل ہوا ہم کو
I swear upon the running sacred blood from Abid's feet
From Najaf to Karbala, these running, wounded feet
With ever breath, the sick visitors ask for energy
The King of Karbobala has called upon us!
Upon your shoulders, mighty wind, elevate us!



جب غم شبیر ع میں خون جگر کو گھول کر
داستاں کہتے ہیں ان آنکھوں کے آنسو بول کر
کربلا آغوش میں بھرتی ہے بانہیں کھول کر
دے کے چہروں پر ہمارے نور کا بوسہ
لکھ دیا خاک شفا نے عشق کا قصہ
When in Hussain's grief blended with intense pain
The tears of the eyes narrate a tale
With open arms Karbala takes us in its embrace
Then the splendour of the land kisses our face
Khak e Shifa writes there the story of love!



ٹوٹتی سینے میں یہ سانسوں کی ڈوری جوڑ کے
زندگی چل تیز تر پیچھے قضا کو چھوڑ دے
بے وفا دنیا کی الفت سے نگاہیں موڑ لے
رب کو آل سیدہ کا واسطہ دے کر
چھوڑ دے زوار جنت کربلا لے کر
Breathe even if you feel breathless inside!
O my life, run ahead, leave death behind!
To the fickle love of this world turn blind!
Ask the Lord in the name of Lady Fatima
Leave Jannat, O visitor, and take Karbala!



ابرہہ کے ہاتھیوں کا حال کرنے کو رقم
زائرینِ کربلا مثلِ ابابیلِ حرم
لشکرِ مہدی چلا عباس کے زیرِ علم
کچھ سپاہی پیکرِ گمنام ہیں ان میں
کچھ شہیدانِ مدافع شام ہیں ان میں

The pilgrims of Karbala like ababeels of Har'am(Mecca)
The forces of Mahdi march under the banner of Abbas
Some soldiers are unknown among them
Some martyrs of Shaam are among them
