Tanguar haor (Bengali: টাঙ্গুয়ার হাওর, Sylheti:; also called Tangua haor), located in the Dharmapasha and Tahirpur upazilas of Sunamganj District in Bangladesh, is a unique wetland ecosystem of national importance and has come into international focus.

Niladri Lake, located at Tekerghat in Sunamganj near the Indian border, is called Bangladesh's Kashmir

There is a hillock beside the river, possibly 150 feet is the height. People says that as Barik Tila(বারিক টিলা), Barikka Tila(বারিক্কা টিলা), etc. From the top of the hill, the people and the boats beside the river look very small.

Shimul Bagan’ is situated in the Jadukata river banks taking over 100 bighas of land in Tahirpur, Sunamganj. The garden also contains lemon trees. It appears like a field of Bombax that has been decorated by imaginary colors.

How to go:
From Dhaka to Sunamganj by bus (non-AC), will cost you around 550 BDT and will take 5/-6 hours maximum to reach Sunamganj. upon reaching, hire a bike which will be available in bus stand, will cost you around 800-1000 BDT max for the whole day trip. first will go to Shimul bagan, then barikkatila, then niladri lake. you will get another flavour in rainy season, when you can hire a boat and sail to the area.
