Rock and Mud Tire Combo | Hidden Falls Adventure Park

Описание к видео Rock and Mud Tire Combo | Hidden Falls Adventure Park

Have you ever wondered how running a different tire setup in the rear would perform. I've wondered this myself for a while and finally came around to testing it out.

In the rear I ran the 35" XTR370 from System3 Off-Road and up front I ran the 35" Maxxis Roxxzilla tires. We've compared both of these tires before as this park and were surprised out how well the 370s performed, especially considered they're not a sticky and are more of a mud tire. We think it has a lot to do how almost ever ledge at this park has a fine limestone powder at the bottom that makes it more difficult to carry your momentum into a ledge.

We also continued to test out the new RC500 stickies from System3 Off-Road that we tested and compared again the roxxzillas in our previous video. All in all it is not a bad option for rock tires but when you're used to an elite rock tire like a roxxzilla, it tends to leave you disappointed. Our main complaint is the lateral traction, especially with the front end when approaching a ledge. As you can see, Ethan was having a hard time keeping the machine on his line with the front end bouncing from left to right and pushing him away from where his tires were pointed. We think it has something to do with the harder sidewall that doesn't allow the sidewall to flex even though Ethan was running them at 6 psi in the front and 6.5 psi in the rear.

Always a good time riding with the homies!
