✨ hey everyone! I attempted to live like a 1950s housewife...i'm not sure if i succeeded but it was worth a shot. This is full of cleaning and cooking and baking.

refrigerator rolls from the dear daughter cookbook:

halved recipe i did in the video:
1 cup of boiling water
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 TBSP butter
1/2 TBSP salt
combine in a saucepan and bring to boil. Remove from heat and cool make sure it's at max 110 degrees.

1 pkg. of active dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water
dissolve together then add to sugar water

1 egg
beat that into the mixture

2 cups of bread flour (i used all purpose)
1 1/2 cup bread flour (i used all purpose)
Stir the flour into the mixture until combined. Turn dough into buttered bowl, great the top of the dough, cover bowl and place in refrigerator. When ready to use shape into desired rolls and allow to rise to double in bulk in a warm place. Bake at 425 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

regular ingredient listings:

Mozzarella
Marinara
Combine these in a bowl and mix together
Roll the roll out on a floured surface, cut out a square, place a heaping amount of filling on one side of the square and fold the empty side over. With a little water on your fingertips, wet the bottom edges and clamp them together. Vent the tops but cutting some slits in the dough
Optional: Melt some garlic butter on top of the dough.
Bake at 425 for 15 to 20 minutes

Ham and Cheese:
Ham
Cheddar Cheese
Garlic Butter
