Epson XP-245: How to Print a Nozzle Check Test Page and do Cleaning Cycles to Improve Print Quality

In this video, I show you how to do a test print from an Epson Expression Home XP-245 inkjet printer, directly from the machine itself. This means that this method can be used with the PC off, or even if your printer is not connected to anything at all.

A nozzle check is a great way to troubleshoot print quality issues with your Epson Expression Home XP-245 printer, and check its ability to produce black, cyan, magenta and yellow from the installed 29/29XL ink cartridges.

We also take a look at how to do cleaning cycles, if needed. This is essential knowledge for resolving almost any print quality issue with your printer, from missing colours to striped prints, we recommend doing these steps first. Cleaning in this way does use up black, cyan, magenta and yellow ink within your installed 29/29XL ink cartridges, so be sure to use this function of your Epson Expression Home XP-245.

Whilst we have used an Epson Expression Home XP-245 printer in this video, the process remains the same for other machines in the XP243and XP247 Series too.
