Google Maps is Wrong when it comes to finding the Doris McCarthy Trail.
In a nutshell, find the trailhead off of Ravine Drive, off of Kingston Road.

The most popular link to find the Doris McCarthy Trail on Google Maps regularly takes visitors on a wild goose chase down a small laneway called Ledge Road and right into someone's garage on the opposite side of the ravine on which the trail's Route pin is located. On any given fine, sunny Saturday or Sunday, it is almost funny that cars are waiting at the top of Ledge Road while other cars further down the road make their manoeuvres to get out of the street. Residents of the area have posted all manner of requests to Google Maps to get the location fixed. At its mildest, it is simply an inconvenience for folks to have to turn around or reverse out of Ledge Rd. At its worst, visitors enter someone's private property and are sent by Maps down a dangerously steep ravine that is not marked or kept clear and is known for deer ticks.
