Spirisapientlyra - from AI-Designed Musical Instrument Project by ADACHI Tomomi

This instrument was accurately recreated from a 2D image (the first photo) generated by artificial intelligence. The performance technique for this instrument was developed by ADACHI Tomomi.

This project was realised for ADACHI Tomomi's Solo Exhibition
"Old Instruments From the Future, New Instruments From the Past(and Characters)((by Artificial Intelligence))". The exhibition featured four newly built instruments and a four-channel audio and video installation. This video is a single-channel edit of one of those instruments.

この楽器は人工知能によって2次元の画像（冒頭の写真）として生成されたものをできるだけ忠実に再現したものです。そしてその楽器の演奏法を足立智美が開拓しました。

このプロジェクトは金沢アートグミ15周年記念 足立智美個展「古い未来の楽器と新しい昔の楽器 (と文字) ((人工知能による))」(2024年5月27日-8月4日）のために、４つの楽器の展示とともに４チャンネルのオーディオをヴィデオによるインスタレーションとして実現されました。このヴィデオはそのうちの１つをシングルチャンネルにまとめたものです。
