Having built three 3D printed locos for my 009 narrow gauge layout Chalkdon, I look at some of the other things available and give some idea of costs. I get most of mine from 3D Printing For Charity who attend many of the shows in the Lincolnshire and East Midlands area (usual disclaimer of just being a very satisfied customer). All profits are donated to the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance which is a great cause to support. You may be surprised at just what is available and at a very reasonable cost.
