This video showcases the cutting strategies and steps of machining a Hip Cup (Acetabular Cup) Implant. The medical precision components was featured at the ITI Medical 2024 seminar held at Tonasco Smart Factory. Deploying full 9-axis CNC Milling and Turning functions, we are able to machine this titanium component with a cycle time of under 35min, using a total of 17 Tools.

Operation 2: 3 Tools, Custom 3-Jaw Hydraulic Chuck

Material:
Titanium Ø 45mm Ti6Al4V Bar
