Husband charged in missing Va. mom Mamta Bhatt's case denied bond amid new evidence

Prosecutors revealed evidence for the first time that potentially links Manassas Park man Naresh Bhatt to the disappearance of his wife, during a court hearing Friday that ended with the judge denying bond to Bhatt.

Mamta Kafle Bhatt, who is presumed dead, was last seen at the end of July and has had no contact with family and friends since she was reported missing. Officials have been searching nearby parks and other areas in hopes of finding evidence that would lead them to answers about her disappearance. In August, officials charged Naresh with concealing her body, and in court, they said they believed he murdered his wife.
