Our journey through Hip Dysplasia - Newborn to 4 months old

Soon we will celebrate 1 year since Luna completed her treatment with the Pavlik harness, and I wanted to mark the moment by creating this video. This was a challenging time in our journey, and we are so relieved that it’s in the past. We are so very amazed by how strong babies can be and we do hope that with time, screening for DDH will be a standard practice in as many places as possible. We are very thankful that we were able to help find out and intervene so fast, and as a result, we have a hip healthy baby that will not need any further interventions. Our warmers thought are out there for the babies and parents that go though this tough challenge. I hope others can find comfort and get a bit of strength from our story, we know how alone one can feel in this sort of situations.
