SLAM 2024 Youth Conference

AACI Youth Programs hosted our 4th annual SLAM Youth Conference. The conference is free to Santa Clara County teens and highlights local leaders and professionals in Sports, Leadership, Arts, and Media (SLAM). This year teens got to participate in interactive workshops and presentations from:
Big Reid - Radio Host from the popular Bay Area radio station, 99.7
Alyssa Wigant - Lettering Artist, Illustrator, & Muralist from San Jose
Susan Thomas -Leading to change - Leadership workshop
Vasty - Local dancer

AACI Youth Programs is comprised of three different youth programs: YTI, FNL, and LEAD. While each program has it's own goals, the ultimate mission is to uplift youth voices and give them access to educational resources they might not otherwise have access to.

Youth in Technology Incubator (YTI) is a program of AACI (Asian Americans for Community Involvement), and is funded by the County of Santa Clara Behavioral Health Department – Substance Use Prevention Services.
