This was my first actual "Big Adventure" trip. (I had been on long trips before - example: Ohio to the Bahamas in a Skyhawk.) After completing this trip, I realized that my Las Vegas trip in 2015 was a mini-version of a Big Adventure trip, so I've since deemed that one as Big Adventure 0. So this trip is Big Adventure 1.

This trip started as a desire to attend the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, and while planning this trip (a year ahead of time), I realized that this would take me 80% of the way to the west coast from Ohio, so I decided to go all the way. This trip took 19 days, and I logged a total of 63.9 hours and flew about 5,650 miles.

Accomplishments this trip:
• Landed in 13 states (6 of which I hadn’t been to before)
• Landed in the southwestern-most airport in the 48 states
• Landed in the southern-most airport in Texas
• Landed on Catalina airport
• Landed at Santa Monica, before they close it (if they do)
• Flew part of the 48-state perimeter from San Francisco, CA to New Orleans, LA
