There has been an impressive operation held against "El Marro", Leader of the Cartel de Santa Rosa de Lima. A growing cartel from Guanajuato. The cartel was known to be from an area called "The Golden Triangle". These presumed Narco Terrorists, controlled the Huachicol business and also managed many racketeering and drug business like any other. But Huachicol, the theft of Gas through pipelines, was their biggest income. Mexico tapped into their bank accounts and froze all their known assets. Being unable to pay for his security and losing control of the zone. Weakness was seen and Mexican officials went in for the detention(s). What is strange to me, is that... Mexico used modern technology and the right to freeze cash plus the access of intelligence... to take down this cartel... same intelligence that should or who knows, may be used against these larger more threatening cartels. Just my two cents.
