This is my version of an 80s classic: Take On Me by A-Ha. Another of my absolute favourites from the era.

I recreated this track by ear using a variety of VST instruments, including Native Instruments FM8 (an FM synthesizer like the Yamaha DX7 available at the time) and Steinberg's Retrologue 2.
I used several layers to create the lead sound (about 9 in total).
