EcoDyip. Inc., a newly formed local transport company that aims to gain entry and support the government’s Public Utility Modernization Program, has formally signed a contract with Mahindra Philippines to supply 1000 units of Mahindra Modern Jeepneys woth P2 Billion. The first 100 of such units were turned over last July 20, 2018 after the signing ceremonies between EcoDyip at the Megatent in Libis Quezon with the president of Mahindra Philippines, Mr. Felix J. Mabilog.

Mahindra/CAC has a modern assembly plant in a 10-hectare complex at the Laguna International Industrial Plant and is capable of assembling more than 10,000 units annually.

The Powertrain for the Mahindra T20 and cab and chassis for the Mahindra Supro Modern Jeepneys are imported from India but the body, flooring, roof, leather and other customized modifications are fabricated in the Philippines.
