Picked up my first owned airplane, a Cirrus SR-22 G2 GTS from Cincinnati, OH and flew back home to Boca Raton, FL.

A total of 794 nautical miles, but had to divert off course and away from the weather on our way to Saint Simon's Island, GA.

The entire flight was IFR and lots of actual IMC especially after departure and North of Georgia.

For this flight I had some great company. My buddies Heath and Jason are both pilots with lots of experience. They made the flight so much easier having the extra set of eyes and skills helping out with all facets of the mission, from choosing the right route, to radios to double checking my work and helping with the workload.
