The Counter-Terrorism Committee of the UN Security Council is holding a special meeting in India (CTC). Countering the use of new and developing technology for terrorist goals is the subject for this year. Since the UNSC-CTC was founded in 2001, this will be the first meeting of its kind to take place in India. The Chair of the CTC for 2022 is the Permanent Representative of India to the UN. On October 28, the first meeting took place at the Taj Mahal Palace hotel in Mumbai. The special meeting of the UN Security Council's Counter-Terrorism Committee (CTC), which will focus on combating the use of cutting-edge technologies by terrorists, will be held in India for the first time. Chris Lu, a senior American diplomat, will lead the US mission to India as it prepares to attend the summit in Mumbai and New Delhi on October 28 and 29.
