The GM Ringway - Stage Eleven: Littleborough to Norden

Описание к видео The GM Ringway - Stage Eleven: Littleborough to Norden

Exploring the GM Ringway, a 186-mile orbital trail around the outskirts of Greater Manchester.

After an avoidable early detour along the Rochdale Canal due to ignoring an advertised temporary diversion, stage eleven begins with a nondesript but pleasant stroll around the northern edge of Rochdale, skirting Dobbin Hill and Brown Wardle Hill, and passing by the reservoirs of Watergrove and Brownhouse Wham. The stage concludes with the most fantastic piece of meandering, taking over 1.5 miles to cover less than 100m with a circuit of Healey Dell Nature Reserve, including a crossing of the 30m high Healey Dell Viaduct, before finishing in Norden via the shores of Greenbooth Reservoir.
