The HJC FG Jet is a new top of the line open face option from HJC that shares components from the FG series, as well as the RPHA series. The FG, which in this series, stands for fiber glass, offers a nice upgrade to the polycarb shells we see in some of the other open face options. The FG Jet will come in 3 shell sizes across the size run, helping to keep the weight down and the profile small. The venting in the FG Jet shares a similar construction to vents found in both the RPHA MAX and the RPHA 10, that are sleek, low profile, and easy to operate. Built into the Jet helmet is an integrated sun visor that ships stock with a smoke shield, but can be upgraded with dark smoke or high-def amber tints. The latest version of the HJ-17R faceshield is about a half inch longer than the HJ-17J shield found on the IS-33. The Silvercool lining is fully removable and washable and multiple sizes of the cheekpads and comfort liners can help customize fit. The FG-Jet will come in solid gloss, matte and metallic options and in sizes XS-2XL.
