First I will say both sides of the conversation to demonstrate. You can repeat after me or just listen.

Second, I will say the white half of the conversation (left side of screen), and pause for you to respond with the purple half.

Third, you will say the white half and I will say the purple half.

Sentence Practice:

This is a format for making many sentences. I give you three examples...create more sentences yourself to practice! Write the sentences you create in the comments and I'll respond. :)

Conversation with Friends:

Are you going to study tonight?
Yes. I have to pass this test.
Same. I’m really nervous about it.
Do you want to study together?
Sure! That would be awesome.
Great! I’m going to go to the library at 7.

Phone Call:

Thanks for calling the bank. How can I help you?
Hello. I am going to travel next month, so I need to make sure my card will work.
Ok. Can you verify your name and current address?
It’s Jane Black. 5432 Oak Street.
Ok. And where and when are you traveling?
We’re going to go to France from October 12th through the 25th.

Airport:

When are you going to the airport?
My flight is at 8:00, so I’m going at 6:00.
Is that enough time?
It should be. I’m not going to check a bag so I can skip the line.
Ok. Have a good trip!
Thanks! I’ll see you next week.

Shopping:

Are you going to get a gift for Tom?
Yes. A few of us are pitching in to buy him a grill.
Oh, cool. Can I join in?
Sure! Everyone contributed $25.
