Chinese Tenor Banjo uke

This is an very reasonably priced Tenor Banjo Ukulele purchased via Ebay. I was pleasantly suprised at how good it is - nice geared tuners, spot on intonation and a loud, pleasant tone for an instrument with no tone ring.

I have modified it slightly - renaissance head, black french polish finish, reshaped headstock, hand made armrest, hand made cherry bridge sat on a solid ebony plate for a nice dark tone.. I ground a portion of the tension hoop out over the freboard because the strings were catching it when set up with a low action. All in all it's now a very nice sounding instrument with great action and playability.
