ACNL Fruits, Mushrooms, Bamboo

All about fruits, mushrooms, and bamboo in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Fruits spawn fruit every 3 days from being harvested.
Native Fruits: Peach, Apple, Orange, Cherry, or Pear
Perfect fruits: only able to grow native perfect fruit in your town. Each perfect tree has a 5-7 harvests before it dies and needs to be replanted.
Tropical fruits can be found on the Island (go to random tours and if you see trees with the fruit you can bring them back with you in the bin): Durian, Persimmon, Lychee, Lemon, Mango, Coconut, Banana

Coconut and mango only grow on beach areas, but all fruits can grow in your town (except non-native perfect fruits)

Types of mushrooms: Round, flat, skinny, elegant, rare, famous
Types of special stumps: sun, bullseye, heart, Redd's art logo, star, 4-leaf clover, New Leaf logo, cat, Tri-force, flower, "X", orange, music note, butterfly

Bamboo can be bought from Leif in T&T Emporium for 3,000 bells (3,600 if you have the bell boom ordinance) - plant a bamboo shoot and it matures in 3 days. Bamboo spawns bamboo shoots in the ground every days after maturity. Bamboo grows faster in spring (March to May) so be careful of overgrowth!
