Dana Veera Sura Karna (DVSK) is a character from Hindu mythology and the protagonist of the Telugu movie "Daana Veera Soora Karna" directed and produced by Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) in 1977. The movie is a retelling of the Mahabharata from Karna's perspective.

In Hindu mythology, Karna is a great warrior and one of the key figures in the Mahabharata. He is the son of Kunti, the mother of the Pandavas, but was abandoned by her at birth and raised by a charioteer. Karna was known for his generosity, bravery, and loyalty to his friend Duryodhana, the eldest of the Kauravas.

In the movie DVSK, NTR played the lead role of Karna and portrayed him as a noble and just warrior. The film was a massive success at the box office and is considered a classic of Telugu cinema. NTR also directed and produced the film, which was made on a grand scale with elaborate sets and costumes.
