One days during the early hours of morning, Amardas ji heard Bibi Amro singing some hymns of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. He was moved by the shabads and desired to meet Guru Nanak but he came to know that Guru Nanak ji is not present in the physical body instead Guru Nanak ji made Guru Angad Dev Ji as the second sikh guru before departing.
