A display of the Sailor's Hornpipe Scottish Highland dance during the 2021 Grampian Games, held in Braemar, Scotland. The Sailor's Hornpipe is one of the Scottish National Dances for competitions. It is common to many parts of the UK and was originally played on a hornpipe rather than bagpipes. It is one of the few Highland Dances that has its own costume for competitions and there are several tunes used, like "Bobby Cuthbertson" played here. We believe the dancer on the right is Michelle Gordon, the 2018 World Junior Highland Dancing champion, who comes from Huntly.

With almost all Highland Games in Scotland cancelled again in 2021, the Grampian Games Association and Royal Scottish Highland Games Association came together for one special celebration of Highland Games, held at the home of the Braemar Gathering on 14th August 2021.
