These Gluten Free Maple Pecan Shortbread Cookies came out really good. They are almond flour based, but had the taste and texture like traditional shortbread cookies.

They are slice and bake so they are a great recipe that can be made a few hours or even a day or two in advance before being baked off. They are egg free and since I think swapping the butter out for your favorite non- dairy butter substitute would work fine for this recipe.

Ingredients
• 1 Cup (96g) King Arthur Almond Flour
• 3 Tbs (43g) Unsalted Butter
• 3 Tbs (21g) Confectioners' Sugar
• 1 tsp Cinnamon
• ⅛ tsp Table Salt
• 2 tsp Maple Syrup
• ⅛ tsp Natural Maple Flavor, Optional
• ½ tsp Gluten-Free Vanilla Extract
• ⅓ Cup (35g) Pecans, Chopped
