The SEGA Mega Drive (aka SEGA Genesis in the USA) had a fairly successful tenure in Australia, and since 1991 I've bled blue and been staunchly loyal to the brand.

Over the years I managed to get my hands on a few variants of the 16-Bit powerhouse that consumed so much of my childhood so here's a brief look at two of the most well known spinoffs.

The North American exclusive SEGA Genesis Nomad which was a portable Genesis that played all your cartridges on the go, and the Genesis CDX (or Multi-Mega in PAL territories) which was a Mega Drive/Mega CD all in one combo unit.
