The Community Music School in Springfield has received $50,000 in state funds for their Adaptive Music Program, a partnership with Springfield Public Schools. The Adaptive Music Program offers training for special education teachers and allows instructors to work directly with special needs students in the classroom. Carolee McGrath sat down with School Eileen McCaffery, the director of the Community Music School, as a well as the director of Adaptive Music Partnership Andy D’Anotnio, and Julie Jaron, the director of visual and performing arts for the Springfield Public School system, to learn more.
