What is The Atlas Network, actually? Debbi Gibbs response to Mihingarangi Forbes | Taxpayers' Union

Last year TVNZ's Mata Reports published a so-called "documentary" titled Trick or Treaty hosted by Mihingarangi Forbes. It was full of misinformation and accused the Taxpayers' Union of having a secret agenda linked to Australia's voice referenda. It also attacked an international freedom group called The Atlas Network - which, the piece claimed, were party behind the "No" campaign in Australia - and it suggested all sorts of outrageous things.
But what the piece didn't mention: The Atlas Network is chaired by a New Zealander, and The Atlas Network had equal links to one of the leaders of the "Yes" campaign. No wonder Mihingarangi Forbes didn't even bother to approach The Atlas Network for comment.

At least two Broadcasting Standards Authority complaints have now been upheld against Ms Forbes and her producer.

So Jordan did what Mihingarangi Forbes wouldn't: sat down with Debbi Gibbs, the Kiwi in New York who chairs this organisation with partners around the world fighting for human rights, freedom, and dignity. They cover who and what The Atlas Network is, and the sorts of disinformation being propagated using taxpayer money at TVNZ.
