[Synopsis] Sang Qi, Minister Sang's only daughter, was caught in a bet in which she had to make the First Master Yan Yun in Yan receive her purse and an invitation to enjoy lanterns at the Lantern Festival, or else she would be singing on the lantern show instead of becoming an opera woman. Sang Qi believed it wasn't a huge problem, but she was repeatedly denied. Knowing Yan Yun taught at Imperial College, she decided to apply and was eventually accepted after her father pleaded with the Emperor. As a result, she enrolled at Imperial College alongside her childhood friend Zhuo Wenyuan and a number of young masters, becoming the Imperial College's first and only female student.
