Because people do actually ask me how I take care of my skin, and usually it’s a pretty simple line up of no-nonsense, practical advice that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Hydration & protection are key people.

WHY A WATER BOTTLE?
Because plastic water bottles are disgusting and also from what I’ve learned about shipping/handling of goods; When plastic water bottles are sitting outside of a warehouse, baking in the sun, plastics are leeching into the water making it absolutely gnarly to imagine consuming. Not to mention the plastic you are taking in and out of your hot car, hot class and hot weather. It’s been a hot summer people, and plastic is not made to withstand heat healthily. Also you pay for that poison too. Cut the crap and get yourself a water bottle that isn’t contributing to more toxic micro-plastics in your body.

WHY A UPF +50 UMBRELLA?
Because sunscreen is damn expensive and many sunscreens are jacked to the brim with chemicals that you plain and simple don’t want on your skin or IN your body. EVER. Period. These chemicals are directly linked to everything from hormone disruption to cancer cells and are supremely toxic to your person. While mineral sunscreens offer up an alternative to the gross oxybenzone and benzophenone’s that pummel our consumer market, they are still pricey and have to be re-applied consistently to do their job. While the sun gets a bad rap, the reality is we need sunlight to thrive as human beings and I will always find it completely ironic that people think that loading their bodies with chemicals is somehow healthier than protecting themselves with clothing and other protective tools, such as hats or a UPF umbrella, that put no stress on your overall health. Our world is already toxic, you don’t need to add to it by lathering your skin up with ingredients that do more harm than good.

WHY FACE MISTS?
Face mists deliver a quick boost of moisture to your skin, which is especially helpful in dry climates, or after spending time in air-conditioned or heated environments. A mist can instantly refresh tired, dull, or overheated skin, making it feel cool, calm, and energized throughout the day.
