I am speaking about and from the Ifa Spiritual Tradition of Ancestor and Orisa Worship in my capacity of Oluranse Emese (the Voice of the Emese), and from my perspective as an Educator, Quantum Sociologist, and Medical Sociologist.

Profile:
Babalawo A.S. Umar Sharif, MA is the Head Priest of Ile Awo Orisa, The House of the Mysteries of the Orisa and a practitioner of the Ifa Spiritual Tradition of Orisa and Ancestor Worship. The Babalawos and Elders of the Sacred Temple of Obatala initiated him as a priest at the Sacred Temple in Ile-Ife, Nigeria in 2001. He was initiated as a Babalawo, member of the Isoro Traditional Council of Chiefs, and the Oluranse Emese in 2011.

The title Oluranse Emese has never before been bestowed upon a person in the entire history of Ifa. This special title designates and authorizes Baba Umar as the Voice, Vision, and Authority of ways and practices of the Ifa tradition and culture, as well as being the source of sacrosanct and factual dissemination of information on the knowledge and wisdom of Orisas to the New World. He is also called Aremo Awo, Crown Prince of the Mysteries. He strives everyday to share his sacred gifts and talents, to fulfill his sacred agreement with Olodumare (God), and to live up to that to which his Ori is taking him - his destiny. Baba Umar is an Educator, Quantum Sociologist, and Consultant. He is certified by the Centre Of Excellence in the areas of Super Learning, Ancestral Healing, and Herbal Tea Blending,
