Character consistency is a problem when generating images. Richard Potter here is depicted by clearly different people. Maybe there is a better AI generator out there than the one I'm using or better strategies for using it.

Another is AI bias. If you mention magic, or AI gets a sense that you are asking it to create the image of a magician, it will often give him the generic moustache and beard even when specifically asked not to, despite being given a character reference image.

Of course, you can go through many iterations until you get what you want but it might take a lot of time to find the perfect image.

Maybe better prompting will help. Meanwhile....

Richard Potter was the first magician born in America to succeed in America. His story was forgotten until Harry Houdini published a brief account in the September 1906 edition of The Conjurer's Monthly Magazine.

Details were scarce and it was several decades before magicians became aware of the incredible success that Richard Potter achieved as America's most famous magician.
