Rivets are quite useful when we want to connect metal sheets together or other thin objects, where adhesive doesn't work or where there isn't much room for hex screws.
It's not so hard to learn how to operate the rivet gun and it's very easy to make a few connections to get the hang of it.
All you need to know is that rivets come in many lengths and diameters, and you can chose the proper length according to the overall thickness of the materials you want to connect.
Similarly the proper diameter must be chosen.
Other than that, it's very easy to use the rivet gun and you can make many connections where there isn't much room for screws.
In case you want to remove a rivet, you'll have to drill it out, using the proper diameter drill bit.
