UDC administration is committed to the safety and well being of our employees


We believe it is important to create opportunities for our employees to focus on their physical and mental health.

With this in mind, we have decided to improve our PT policy

All employees can now participate in physical training under the following guidelines:

Employees can work out on duty time up to 1 hour per day and three days per week, or 45 minutes per day and four days per week.

We encourage all supervisors to seek opportunities for employees to utilize this program.

Employees must submit a plan outlining their PT activities to include locations they will be working out and the types of activities they will be participating in.

All sworn staff must participate in a yearly PT test to be eligible for this program. Civilian employees are not required to participate in the yearly test. The test is participation only, not pass or fail.

We are preparing a yearly PT challenge to be rolled out shortly.

We are extremely excited to implement this new benefit to our employees.
